Abstract
Telegenetics may soften the paradox of Medical Genetics in Brazil: high patient demand versus few specialized professionals. A website with information about rare diseases was developed for general population and health professionals. TelegeneticaMG has been operating since 03/01/2019 and has had 176 accesses in 4 months. It is the first step for telemedicine to be applied to genetics in Minas Gerais.
