Telehealth in El Salvador, current situation and challenges

Abstract
In El Salvador, a health reform is being implemented, which has a preventive approach based on the individual, the family and the community, which is why the measures are aimed at empowering the population by encouraging behaviors that help improve lifestyles. This implies extensive training for resources with continuous and systematic education in order to provide quality care and warmth. This is where Telehealth is gaining emphasis since with the opening of a single health information system that aims to guarantee not only expeditious but also efficient care, it guarantees resources with an empowerment towards guaranteeing the human right to health.
